Ayodhya : The grandeur of the six-peaked Ram temple will now be visible in its original form after just five months, which will also start attracting people from all over the world. By July, five of the six peaks to be built in the temple have been built. Only the construction of the main peak is left. Its construction will begin after a fortnight. Some other already-built peaks are still being given the finishing touches.
So far, the peaks of Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Gudh Mandap, Bhajan and Kirtan Mandap have been completed. The main peak is the tallest. The implementing agency, L&T, has reiterated its resolve to complete the construction on time. Last week, the chairman of the temple construction committee, Nripendra Mishra, had expressed apprehension that due to a shortage of labourers, the completion of the temple would be delayed by two months, but the implementing agency L&T has claimed that the number of labourers is being increased.
Ram Mandir will be completed in the given time.
The temple will be completed by the scheduled time i.e. by December. After the ground floor, the structure of the first floor is also ready. Statues are being carved on the walls of the first floor. Marble is being laid on the floor. The construction of the second floor is going on at a fast pace. Nripendra Mishra has clarified that the temple construction work should be completed first. L&T Director VK Mehta said that we are all committed to completing the construction on time.
He says that the number of workers are increasing. Now the main peak is to be built, which will be completed after the construction of the second floor of the temple. The height of the temple will be 161 feet. At present, the columns of the walls are being prepared on the second floor. Preparations are underway to decorate some parts of the beam stones. After just a fortnight, the construction of the main peak and the second floor will begin.
The work of laying white marble on the floor of the first floor will be completed in September. At present, this floor is being given finishing touches. Apart from this, the construction of Sapta Mandapam and Sheshavatar Temple is going on at a rapid pace, and it is being built using the same technology as the Ram temple. Like the temple, the foundation of its blocks has been prepared in several levels.
Kuber mound will be open for darshan in December.
Even though Kuber mound has been completed. Kubereshwar Mahadev along with Jatayu are established here, but darshan will start in the month of December. For this, passes will be issued to one thousand devotees regularly.
