Agra. A grand fair will be organized at Balkeshwar Mahadev temple on the second Monday of Shravan month. Before this, the ancient Shiva temples located at the four corners of the city will be circumambulated at night. Due to this, a huge crowd will gather at the fair. In view of the crowd, special preparations are being made at the Balkeshwar temple.

There is no entry into the sanctum sanctorum on the second Monday

The same situation will prevail the next day on Monday as well. Only the members of the Sevadhari family are allowed entry into the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, so that the devotees do not face any problem, arrangements have been made to offer water on the Shivling from a distance.
Milk and water will reach Bhole Baba directly
The temple administration has installed a Jaldhari from one of the doors of the sanctum sanctorum to the Shivling, through which the water and milk offered by the devotees will reach Baba directly. Similar arrangements are in place at the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain and the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Banaras. In view of the large crowd of pilgrims, additional arrangements will be made by installing another similar Jaldhari at the other door of the sanctum sanctorum from Sunday evening, which will remain till 4:00 pm the next day.
Shops will be removed
Temple sevadar Archit Pandya said that pilgrims will get direct entry in the temple from Sunday evening onwards, whereas devotees coming to the temple will have to reach the temple through the barricade.
