News Topical, Digital Desk : Two Indian students were killed in a road accident in Pennsylvania, USA. Two Indian students were killed in a car accident when their car hit a tree and then went off a bridge, local authorities said.

Officials said another passenger in the front seat of the vehicle was injured in the accident and was rushed to a local hospital. Upon receiving the news, the Consulate General of India in New York expressed condolences over the incident. The embassy posted,

The consulate is in touch with the families and has assured them of all possible assistance. According to a report, the young students died in a vehicle accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Brecknock Township at 7 am on Saturday. 

 

Both died due to traumatic injuries

Patel and Prabhakar died when their car struck a tree and later crashed into a bridge, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office and Pennsylvania State Police, which also said Prabhakar was driving. 

 

Police say both people died at the scene from multiple traumatic injuries. Both deaths were deemed accidental.
