News Topical, Digital Desk : A plastic scrap factory in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, was thrown into chaos when a fire suddenly broke out. The flames were so intense that they spread throughout the factory. Upon receiving information about the fire, a fire brigade team arrived at the scene. Firefighters attempted to extinguish the flames with the help of BHEL vehicles. Meanwhile, regarding the fire at the plastic scrap factory, it is being reported that goods worth approximately 2 to 3 crore rupees were destroyed in the fire. A dozen vehicles and more than 50 tankers of water have been used to extinguish the fire. As of this writing, the fire has not been brought under control.

Scrap goods worth Rs 3-4 crore were kept in the factory.

According to reports, Shahid Khan owns a plastic scrap factory in the Bijauli Industrial Area, under the Premnagar police station in Jhansi district. It housed scrap material worth approximately ₹3 to ₹4 crore (approximately $30 million to $40 million). A fire suddenly broke out in the factory between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m. The blaze was so intense that it engulfed the entire factory. However, the cause of the fire is still unknown.

Goods worth crores burnt to ashes in arson

Upon receiving information about the fire, the factory owner, police from the outpost, BHEL, Parichha Plant, and army vehicles arrived at the scene. Efforts were then made to extinguish the blaze. Factory owner Shajid stated that the fire, which raged for more than five hours, destroyed goods worth approximately ₹3 to ₹4 crore (approximately $30 million to $40 million) in the factory. Police officials have yet to release any statement regarding the incident.
