Only pedestrians were allowed to pass. Due to which the vehicle carrying the dead body was also stopped. The son of the deceased woman kept pleading for a long time, but the employees did not relent. 

Giving up, the son was forced to cross the one kilometre long bridge on foot with the help of the hearse driver, carrying the body of his mother on a stretcher. Before this, the Sadar MLA's car was allowed to cross the bridge. For this, the employees also removed the barricades placed there and when the car of Sadar MLA Dr. Manoj Prajapati reached near the bridge at around seven o'clock, the employees removed the barricades and allowed the car to pass. At the same time, a hearse coming from Kanpur was not given entry.

Crossed the bridge on foot carrying the dead body
The son started crossing the bridge on foot carrying the dead body on a stretcher. While crossing the one kilometre long bridge, he kept the dead body at four places and then picked it up and walked. Man Singh alias Binda, a resident of Tedha village of Sumerpur police station, said that mother Shivdevi's leg was fractured. She died during treatment in Kanpur hospital. He was bringing the dead body to the village in a vehicle. After this, he took the dead body to the village in an auto. When the issue of stopping the ambulance carrying the dead body on Yamuna Bridge and taking out the car of Sadar MLA Manoj Prajapati gained momentum, the Sadar MLA gave his reaction.

He told that his brother's health was very bad due to which he had to be sent to Kanpur for treatment and when his car was passing, the bridge was not completely closed at that time, so the vehicles were removed from the bridge and also when the ambulance carrying the dead body was stopped, at that time repair work was going on on the bridge, due to which his son crossed the bridge by placing the dead body on a stretcher. On the other hand, PNC's Project Manager MP Verma told that when the MLA's vehicles were passing through the bridge, at the same time barricades were being put up to close the bridge, seeing the patient, the vehicles left the bridge and when the ambulance carrying the dead body was stopped, at that time the bridge was completely closed, due to which the ambulance was stopped.
