38 demands of the protesters

The protesters have 38 demands, including the abolition of 12 seats in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK) Assembly reserved for Kashmiri refugees living in Pakistan, which locals argue undermines representative governance.

Internet and mobile phone services suspended

Internet and mobile phone services remained suspended for the second consecutive day in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Public Action Committee has warned the Pakistani government that it will soon organize a large rally.
