News Topical, Digital Desk : Two friends tragically died when their car collided with a temporary barrier on the Delhi-Dehradun Greenfield Highway in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. The two were on their way to Haridwar to bathe in the Ganges, just a day after receiving their B.Tech degrees. Although two cars collided with the barrier, the second car was damaged, but no one was injured.

Following the accident, both families arrived in Baghpat to investigate the incident. Both deceased were the only sons in their families. The family members are inconsolable. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem.

Both were going to Haridwar

24-year-old Kapil Parasar, a resident of Nangloi, Delhi, and his friend, 25-year-old Prayagraj Kaushik, had just graduated from B.Tech. Prayagraj Kaushik's father, Rajendra Kaushik, is an under secretary at the NITI Aayog. After graduating from college, the two friends were driving to Haridwar via the Delhi-Dehradun Greenfields Highway, using Google Maps.

As they approached Mavikalan in Baghpat, their car collided with a temporary barrier. Both friends were seriously injured. They were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared them dead.

Police informed the families of the two deceased about the accident, after which the families rushed to the district hospital and were devastated upon seeing their bodies. Both were the only sons in their families. Although another car collided with a barrier, no one was injured. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, and the family has not yet filed any complaints against anyone. Consequently, the police are treating the incident as an accident and proceeding with the investigation.

Meanwhile, the news of their death has brought grief to their college mates; no one can believe that both of them would die so suddenly.
