The incident took place when the traffic police stopped the transgenders from forcibly demanding money from people at red light traffic.
According to the information, in Gandhi Chowk area, as soon as the traffic signal stopped, some eunuchs were going near people's vehicles and asking for money. They were stopping people even after the green light was on and forcibly collecting money from them. When the traffic police stopped them from doing so, the matter got heated.
Police officer injured in attack
It is being told that Traffic Police Inspector Mangala Kisku was on duty when some eunuchs came towards his car, forcibly pulled him out of the car and started beating him. The police officer was badly injured in this attack. He was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
