News Topical, Digital Desk : Agra News: There was outrage among the people after tiles with pictures of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Lord Buddha were installed on the floor of a hospital in Agra. Now former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and National President of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav has given a sharp reaction on this matter.
Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter that, "Installing tiles depicting Mahatma Buddha and Babasaheb Ambedkar on the floor in a hospital in Agra is such a humiliating misdeed that it cannot be condemned enough. Sometimes it is a conspiracy to change the Constitution made by Babasaheb, sometimes opposition to installing his statue in the court premises in MP and sometimes his depiction on floor tiles is a well-planned move, behind which there is no need to say which group of dominantists is working.
Akhilesh Yadav further wrote that "As the consciousness of PDA is increasing, the physical and mental attacks of the hegemons
on the inspirational symbols and great men of PDA as well as on the PDA society are also increasing. Those who think that the morale of PDA will be broken by such well-planned insults are making a historical mistake. The resistance to oppression emerges as power. There is a limit to oppression and so is the oppressor. Now BJP has crossed that limit and in view of its downfall, it is making a last attempt to break the courage and unity of PDA with such despicable acts, in which it will never succeed now."
In fact, tiles with pictures of Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Lord Buddha were installed on the floor of the hospital located at Delhi Gate under Agra Police Station Hari Parvat area. Ambedkar followers, BSP and Bhim Army workers had also demonstrated in the hospital in protest against this matter.
