Three years of togetherness ends; husband and wife stab each other in Munirka, woman dies:

News Topical, Digital Desk : The Munirka area of Delhi reverberated with screams late Sunday night when a minor domestic dispute escalated into a horrific incident. A quarrel between a Manipuri couple escalated to the point where the husband stabbed his wife. When police arrived, the scene was a horrific, blood-soaked scene. The wife was dead, and the husband lay unconscious, covered in blood.

The door was locked when the police arrived.

According to police information, police received a PCR call late Sunday night from Munirka village in the Kishangarh police station area. The call reported a heated argument between a couple.

When the beat staff arrived at the scene, the main door of the house was locked from inside. When they called out repeatedly, receiving no response, the police broke the door. The scene inside stunned even the policemen. Inside, the husband and wife lay covered in blood.

Couple found in bathroom with blood, domestic violence suspected

Police said that after entering the house, the bathroom door was also found locked from the inside. When it was broken open, the man and woman were found unconscious inside. Both had deep wounds on their necks. They were immediately rushed to AIIMS Trauma Center, where doctors declared the woman dead. The injured husband is said to be in critical condition. Police recovered a knife with blood stains on it at the scene.

Initial investigation revealed a fight and then an assault. Police called the crime team and FSL team to the scene to collect evidence. Police say the case is currently being considered a domestic violence case. The accused husband is currently hospitalized, and only after his statement will the true cause of the incident be clear. Legal action has been initiated and the investigation is ongoing.
