All the youths are residents of Tanda town of Rampur district. These people were coming from Dubai and Saudi Arabia, who were kidnapped by the criminals on Friday. In time, the police arrested two criminals after an encounter and rescued these youths. When the police interrogated the criminals, it was found that these youths were smuggling gold from abroad. On the information given by the miscreants, the police got the bodies of these youths X-rayed and CT scanned and metal capsules were seen in their stomachs. So far more than 20 gold capsules have been recovered from the stomachs of these youths through excreta. The weight of these capsules is about 600 grams. All of them have been kept under the supervision of the medical team amid tight security in the district hospital of Moradabad. The police say that more gold is expected to be recovered from their stomachs. The customs department and forensic team have also been called for investigation.

SP City Kumar Ranvijay Singh said that on Friday, 6 youths and their car driver coming from Saudi Arabia and Dubai were kidnapped by miscreants on Delhi Lucknow National Highway 9. Police caught two miscreants after an encounter in Munda Pandey police station area of Moradabad and recovered these 7 people safely. After the information received from the miscreants, medical checkup of these youths was done in which gold was found in the stomach of 4 youths who came from Dubai. No metal has been found in the stomach of the remaining two youths who came from Saudi Arabia in the medical checkup but all of them have been kept under observation in the district hospital.

He told that so far more than 20 gold capsules have been found in the stomachs of 4 youths. The weight of one capsule is said to be 30 to 35 grams. These are members of a big gold smuggling gang who are involved in gold smuggling. Right now we are investigating all the aspects. The absconding miscreants are also being searched. The travel history and contacts of these youths are being investigated.
