After witnessing torture, death, destruction, and things never before seen by human eyes, they must return home to their families. However, this journey is no better than the hardship they have endured.
Will explode for Oppenheimer
The film stars Anne Hathaway as Odysseus' wife, Penelope, and Tom Holland as their son, Telemachus. Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, and others also appear in various roles. Fans are eager to see the film on the big screen. This will be Nolan's first film since winning the Oscar for Best Director for Oppenheimer, which starred Cillian Murphy as the father of the atomic bomb, J. Robert Oppenheimer.
The Odyssey is an epic poem by Homer that describes Odysseus' perilous journey home after the Trojan War. Battling monsters, temptation, and fate, he relies on wit and patience. Nolan's upcoming project is the first version of the epic poem, which was previously adapted into the 1954 film Ulysses. Directed by Mario Camerini, the film starred Kirk Douglas.
The Coen Brothers' 2000 film, "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" was also based on the Odyssey. The film is set for a theatrical release on July 17, 2026, at Universal, with early bird tickets for screenings already sold out.
