
South actress Jyothika is a well-known actress and film producer. She has also worked in some Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. At the age of 28, she married actor Surya and settled down with her family.

Both Surya and Jyothika have a huge fan following in Karnataka. However, even after marriage, the actress did not stop working in films. She did take a long gap but then made a comeback. In an interview, Jyothika told that Surya was the first person who wanted me to make a comeback as soon as possible.

In an old interview with JFW, the actress spoke about this gap and called it completely her decision. The actress said that the notion that she quit acting due to family pressure is completely wrong. Contrary to popular belief, Jyothika revealed that the decision to walk away from films after getting married was completely her own. She wanted to focus on her family life and hence made this choice.

The actress recently visited Maa Kamakhya Devi and took her blessings. During this, her husband Surya was also present with her. She has worked in many Bollywood films
Although Jyotika is a heroine of South films, she has also worked in many Bollywood films. She also made her Bollywood debut in 1998 with the film "Dolly Sajake Rakhna". Apart from this, she will return to Hindi cinema again in the year 2024 with Ajay Devgan's film "Shaitan". Recently she was seen with Shabana Azmi in the OTT web series Dabba Cartel.
