News Topical, Digital Desk : Along with raising children, it is a big responsibility of the parents to explain to them the right and wrong, appropriate and inappropriate and the importance of things. After separating from her first husband Raja Chaudhary in 2007, actress Shweta Tiwari raised her daughter and actress Palak Tiwari alone. Shweta had set some rules to ensure that Palak gets a proper upbringing. She says, 'I am not a strict mother, I just had some rules. Like if you are going out, you must come home at a certain time. I need the numbers of all your friends and their mothers who are going to the party with you.

A limit was set for spending

Palak got her first mobile phone when she joined college. After turning 16, she got her own makeup box. I used to set a limit on her spending. You have to spend only as much pocket money as you have. If you need more money, you will have to earn it by doing household chores given by me. I had made a complete list for household chores like one thousand rupees for cleaning the bathroom, five hundred for cleaning the bed, one thousand rupees for washing utensils. In this way, whenever she used to spend more, she used to do household chores as well.

She also deducts money from salary

Even now, when her payment comes, I have kept a certain amount aside and said that this much will remain with you. I withdraw the rest of the money and invest it. Sometimes she complains about it, so I tell her that this investment is for her secure future.

She also tracks her daughter's location

Shweta told that sometimes she used to track Palak's location because she used to worry a lot about her daughter when she went out. Shweta said that Palak does not drink but people around her can, so to feel whether she is safe or not, the mother has to take such a step.
