News Topical, Digital Desk : The government has taken a major step regarding the security of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Based on input from the Home Ministry, his security arrangements have been further enhanced.  Barricades have been erected in front of his bungalows in Delhi and Bhopal.

Actually, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj already has Z+ category security, but after the latest input from the Home Ministry, the Central Government has issued instructions to further tighten his security.

Instructions sent after input

After receiving input from the Home Ministry, clear instructions have been sent to the MP DGP, Special Police Commissioner (Security) of Delhi Police and the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh that there should not be any lapse in the security of the minister.

Following the directive, his security arrangements have been increased in both Bhopal and Delhi. Police have erected additional barricades around his residence, B-8, located at 74 Bungalow in Bhopal. Security has also been increased at his official residence in Delhi.

Alert in Delhi-Bhopal

Immediately after receiving the input, an alert was issued in both Bhopal and Delhi. Local police and security agencies further strengthened the security of Shivraj Singh Chouhan in both the cities. Tight security was seen outside the Bhopal bungalow late in the night. Security arrangements have been further tightened with the deployment of additional police force, barricading and increased surveillance. Security agencies are on alert.
