Shilpa Shirodkar began
her Bollywood career in 1989 with the film "Bhrashtachar" (Corruption). In this film, she appeared alongside stars like Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha. However, Shilpa gained real recognition with the film "Kishan Kanhaiya" in which she appeared alongside Anil Kapoor. After this, Shilpa worked in several major films in the 90s.

She acted in numerous films, including Hum, Trinetra, Khuda Gawah, Sanam Bewafa, Aankhen, Gopi Kishan, and Hum Hain Bemisal. During this time, she appeared alongside many stars, including Sunil Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Mithun, and Amitabh Bachchan. However, in 2000, she married banker Aparesh Ranjit and settled abroad. This was a time when Shilpa's career was flourishing, but she left it at its peak.

Worked as a hairdresser abroad
When Shilpa Shirodkar left the country and went abroad with her husband, she also worked as a hairdresser there. In an interview, Shilpa told that after going to New Zealand, she thought of doing a course in hair dressing because she wanted to keep herself busy. After this, she started her career again as a hairdresser. She also worked as a hairdresser there for some time. Apart from this, Shilpa had told that she is a 10th fail, whereas her husband is a banker and a double MA.

There was a time when rumours of Shilpa
Shirodkar's death spread. False rumours of her death spread during the shooting of her 1995 film "Raghuveer." In an interview, Shilpa recalled that time and said that while she was shooting in Manali, her parents were worried. She revealed that rumours had spread that she had been shot dead. However, Shilpa herself has revealed the truth behind it.

Shilpa Shirodkar, who wanted to marry Amitabh Bachchan,
posted a post on his birthday, in which she stated that she wanted to marry Amitabh Bachchan and that he had always been her crush. In her social media post, Shilpa stated that she had been a fan of Amitabh Bachchan and aspired to marry him. However, this never happened. Shilpa has worked with Amitabh Bachchan in films like Khuda Gawah and Hum.
