The goddess who is satisfied with all beings,

The goddess who is situated in the form of mother in all beings,

The goddess who is situated in the form of mercy in all beings,

2. Om Jayanti Mangala Kali Bhadrakali Kapalini.

Durga, Kshama, Shiva, Dhatri, Svaha, Svadha, I offer my obeisances to you.

3. You remove all diseases, but when you are satisfied and angry, you remove all desires.

Those who take shelter of You are not in distress, but those who take shelter of You go to Me.

4. Govinda, son of Devakī, Vāsudeva, Lord of the universe.

O Kṛṣṇa, please give me a son, for I take shelter of You.

5. Jayanti Madgala Kali Bhadrakali Kapalini.

O Durgā, Kṣamā, Śivadhātrī, Svāhā, Svadhā, I offer my respectful obeisances unto you.

6. O eternal power of creation, existence and destruction.

Obeisances unto You, O Nārāyaṇī, who are the shelter of all transcendental qualities.

7. “Durge smrita harasi bhitimasheshajanto:

You give a very auspicious mind remembered by those who are healthy

O remover of poverty, suffering and fear, who is like you?

Always moist-minded to do all kinds of good.”

8. Protect us with your spear, O Goddess, protect us with your sword, O Chambike.

Protect us with the sound of bells and the sound of bows and arrows

9. Give me good fortune and health and give me supreme happiness.

Give me form, give me victory, give me fame, slay the enemies.

10. O Chandika, remover of evil, always with devotion to those who bow down
