When is Sharadiya Navratri celebrated?
Every year, Sharadiya Navratri is celebrated from Pratipada Tithi to Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. During this time, the goddess of the world, Maa Durga and her nine forms are worshipped with devotion. Also, Navratri fast is observed for nine days in her name. With the virtue of this fast, every wish of the devotee is fulfilled.
Shardiya Navratri auspicious time (Shardiya Navratri 2025 Start Date)
According to the Vedic calendar, the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Sharadiya month will start on Monday, September 22. At the same time, Pratipada date will end on September 23. In simple words, Pratipada date will start at 01:23 am on September 22 and will end at 02:55 am on September 23.
When will Sharadiya Navratri start?
In Sanatan Dharma, Udaya Tithi is considered (except for Pradosh Vrat and Ashtami Vrat). For this, Sharadiya Navratri will start from 22nd September. On this day, Ghatasthapana will be done and the first form of the goddess of the world, Maa Shailputri, will be worshipped with devotion. Also, a fast will be kept for her.
Ghatasthapana Shubh Muhurat
There are two auspicious times for Ghatasthapana on 22 September. Sadhaks can worship Goddess Durga by performing Ghatasthapana between 06:09 am to 08:06 am in the morning. After this, Ghatasthapana can also be done during Abhijit Muhurta between 11:49 am to 12:38 pm.
