  • First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Put oil in a small pan and fry the crushed garlic for about 1 minute and take out this garlic oil in a bowl.
  • Now break the thick stems of cabbage, wash them thoroughly, dry the water and rub 1 teaspoon salt thoroughly on the entire cabbage.
  • Place the cauliflower in a small cast-iron pan and coat it thoroughly with the prepared garlic oil. The oil should not be covered with garlic pieces, otherwise they will burn during oven roasting. Cover the cauliflower with aluminum foil, but not too tightly.
  • Roast the cauliflower for 35 to 40 minutes, then remove the cover and cook for another 10 minutes, until tender.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the top and cook for another 5 minutes, until melted. Sprinkle parsley on top before serving.

How to know if the cabbage is cooked

If you have a metal cake tester, insert it into the cauliflower. You can also use a knife for this. If the cauliflower is cooked through, the knife or tester will slide in easily.

How to store leftover cabbage
