Special arrangements have been made for the devotees to offer water with Belpatri to Lord Shiva in the Lal Mandir located in Sector 2. The history of the temple is older than the establishment of Noida city. It was established in 1963. It is the oldest temple. It has attractive idols of Shiva family and other gods and goddesses. The land on which the temple is established today, was once the land of Harola Gram Sabha.
It was established by Anant Awana, a resident of Harola. Shivling was first established here. After this, Saint Mathura Das came here from Uttarakhand and started living here. He gradually started expanding the courtyard of the temple.

It is very easy to reach the Lal Mandir situated in Sector-2. For this, you can get down at Sector 15 or 16 from the metro and go by rickshaw or on foot.

The temple is made of red stones. That is why it is also called Lal Mandir. The courtyard of the temple was built by Gulshan Kumar for shooting films. As soon as the devotee comes here, all his worries go away. The mind becomes happy. During the month of Shravan , a large number of devotees come here and perform Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva. Kanwariyas will arrive in the temple to offer Kanwar from July 23. Special preparations of Prasad and worship have been made for those devotees.
