Dilip Jaiswal was given the responsibility of the Road Construction Department, while Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha was given the responsibility of Urban Development. Nitin Nabin was responsible for the Road Construction Department and the Urban Development and Housing Department. Dilip Jaiswal was holding the post of Bihar BJP President. In his place, the party appointed Sanjay Sarawagi, MLA from Darbhanga Sadar, as the state president. Nitin Nabin's department remained in the BJP's quota.

BJP National Executive President Nitin Nabin met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday (December 16). Afterward, Nitin Nabin said that Amit Shah's guidance always inspires. In an X-post, Nitin Nabin wrote, “After assuming the responsibility of National Executive President, I met with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and received his blessings. Your guidance always provides inspiration in discharging organizational responsibilities.”

Became the party's acting president on December 14

On Sunday, Bihar government minister Nitin Nabin was appointed the BJP's acting president. On Monday, Nabin arrived at the BJP headquarters in Delhi, where he assumed the role of acting president. On Tuesday, he met with senior BJP leaders and Union ministers.

After meeting Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Navin said that his visionary thinking, experience, and constant guidance towards the organization always inspires. After meeting with senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, Nitin Navin wrote in an X-post, "After assuming the responsibility of National Executive President, I met him and received his affection and guidance. Your contribution in providing ideological strength and organizational direction to the BJP has always been a guiding one. Your proximity, experience, and thoughts constantly inspire organizational work."

After assuming the position of National Executive President of BJP, he wrote in an X post, "The responsibility of being the National Executive President of the Bharatiya Janata Party is an opportunity to carry forward the ideological stream founded on sacrifice, austerity, and principles by our founding members. I pay homage to the great sons of Mother India, the pioneers, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and recall their thoughts, struggle, and resolve to serve the nation.
