When to tie Rakhi

If we look at Bhadra Kaal, then the auspicious time to tie Rakhi will be from 1:30 pm to 4:02 pm on August 19. After this, sisters can also tie Rakhi on the wrists of brothers from 6:40 pm to around 9 pm. 

On the day of Rakhi, while tying Rakhi on the brother's wrist, sisters should keep roli, turmeric, ghee lamp, whole rice, coconut, flowers, sweets and Rakshasutra i.e. Rakhi in the plate.
