News Topical, Digital Desk : For the safe transportation of children, the Assistant Divisional Transport Officer Administration has sent notices to the managers of 110 unfit school vehicles to cancel their registration. In the campaign that ran from April 1 to 15, records of 1,120 out of 1,423 school vehicles were uploaded to the monitoring portal. 303 vehicles have not yet completed this process.
After completing this process, officials will be able to easily access vehicle status information online. This initiative will ensure the safety of school children's transportation.
Now unfit vehicles will not be able to run on the roads
Along with the city, 3639 schools are run in the markets of Kadipur, Akhandnagar, Surapur, Koiripur, Chanda, Lambhua, Kamtaganj, Shivgarh, Shambhuganj, Dhammaur, Haliapur, Baldirai, Parabazar, Baldirai, Dhanpatganj, Kurebhar, Kudwar, Motigarpur, Jaisinghpur, Birsinghpur, Semri Bazaar, Motiganj etc.
After the vehicle onboarding process, school vehicles will no longer be able to ply the roads. Vehicles are only onboarded on the portal after all vehicle records have been completed.
Degree and Pharmacy College portal is being updated
The ARTO stated that the portal is being updated to allow the vehicles of degree colleges and pharmacy colleges to be onboarded. Once the monitoring portal update process is complete, the vehicles of these schools will also be onboarded.
Managers of 15 schools have applied for cancellation of registration.
ARTO Administration Alka Shukla stated that the condition of 110 school vehicles is not good. Notices have been sent to the owners of these vehicles to cancel their registrations. The vehicle owners will apply with an affidavit to cancel their registrations. Applications have been received to cancel the registration of 15 vehicles.
