News Topical, Digital Desk : This time the departure of monsoon in Rajasthan has started two days before the scheduled time. On 14 September, the southwest monsoon has withdrawn from some parts of western Rajasthan. Usually the withdrawal of monsoon takes place from 17 September, but this time this process started from 15 September.

The Meteorological Department said that this change will have limited effect on the weather of the state, although there is a possibility of slight increase in day temperature and increase in coldness in nights. On September 14, the weather remained dry in most parts of the state, while light drizzle was recorded in some areas of the capital Jaipur in the evening.

When will the monsoon depart?

The maximum day temperature in Ganganagar was 37.6 degrees Celsius, which is higher than normal for this season. Monsoon is showing signs of retreating from the western areas and the department estimates that the monsoon will leave the entire state by September 25. Meanwhile, light rain continues in many districts, which has brought relief to the farmers.

Yellow alert and affected districts

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 9 districts for September 17. According to PTI, these include Bundi, Kota, Baran, Jhalawar, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur and Banswara. Light to moderate rain is expected in these areas.

The department says that during the departure of monsoon, it may rain here and there, but gradually the weather of the state will become dry. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of sporadic drizzle in Jaipur and surrounding areas.

Further weather and impact

According to experts, with the departure of monsoon, the day temperature in Rajasthan will gradually increase, while the nights will start becoming pleasant. The withdrawal of monsoon on September 15 means that the state is now moving towards autumn.

The Meteorological Department believes that this difference is not very big, so there will not be any major impact. In the coming days, along with dry weather, crops will also be affected and mild cold will begin in many parts of the state.
