News Topical, Digital Desk : A fake religious message circulating on social media based on a routine review meeting of the Devasthan Department in Rajasthan on October 27 has sparked a major controversy. A committee formed to investigate the matter has declared the viral message false.

The investigation committee stated in its report that the viral message was fabricated, misleading, and inciting religious sentiments. The officials presented their views before the committee, headed by Devasthan Commissioner Kanhaiyalal Swami. People have begun to question the role of the RAS officer in the message controversy, as the officer is the administrator of all the groups from which the message was spread.
