News Topical, Digital Desk : The action drama film, released in 2021, is returning with a sequel. Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role. A few days ago, the film's posters, songs, and teaser piqued public excitement about how the story would unfold.

Now, amid this excitement among fans, the explosive trailer for Nandamuri Balakrishna's film has been released. Each scene in this trailer is so powerful that it's sure to give audiences goosebumps.

You won't be able to miss a single scene in 2 minutes 41 seconds.

The trailer of Nandamuri Balakrishna's film begins with the evil spirits who want to break India into pieces and take away its faith in God, targeting people at the 40-day long Mahakumbh Mela, India's biggest festival. Meanwhile, Akhanda, the protector of goodness, arrives and says, “Go to any country in the world, you will find different castes, but in India, you will find only one religion: Sanatana Hindu Dharma.”

The trailer shows how when a country faces a calamity, people are punished, but when there is an objection to religion, the death penalty will be given...which in modern language is called a surgical strike. This short trailer combines Kaliyuga and mythology to show that even today, if anyone tries to erase the faith in people's hearts, he is sure to be destroyed. Nandamuri Balakrishna is in a double role in the film, on one hand he plays 'Akhandha' and on the other hand 'Murali Krishna', in which Akhandha displays his spiritual and martial arts skills to fight evil.

'Akhanda' will clash with Dhurandhar

In terms of trailer, Akhanda 2 is giving competition to Aditya Dhar's directorial film 'Dhurandhar', but at the box office too, Boyapati Srinu's film will compete with Ranveer's movie.

Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty and Harshaali Malhotra, the film is scheduled to release pan-India on December 5, 2025. This is the same date on which Aditya Dhar is also bringing his five 'Dhurandhars' - Sanjay Dutt, Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal to theatres.
