Raisins may also contain sulfites, which trigger stomach problems in some people. So if you want to eat raisins, eat them in limited quantities and soak them in water before eating. People with kidney disease

Raisins are high in potassium. It is beneficial for healthy people, but if the kidneys are not functioning properly, the potassium level in the body can increase. This can cause hyperkalemia (high levels of potassium), which  is dangerous for the heart . Therefore, if you have kidney disease, ask your doctor before eating raisins.

People with food allergies

Some people are allergic to grapes or sulfites. Sulfites are used in making raisins, which can cause allergic reactions (itching, swelling, difficulty in breathing). So if eating grapes causes allergies, do not eat raisins.
