News Topical, Digital Desk : Infrastructure company NCC Ltd. announced its quarterly results before the stock market closed on Thursday. The company stated in a filing to the exchange that its performance in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 was weak on a year-on-year basis. During the quarter, the company's profit declined to ₹155 crore (₹155 crore), compared to ₹163 crore (₹163 crore) in the same quarter last year. This represents a nearly 5% decline in profit.
Similarly, the company's total income declined to ₹4,543 crore (approximately $1.4 billion), compared to ₹5,196 crore (approximately $1.2 billion) in the same quarter last year. This represents a decline of approximately 12.6 percent. The company stated that EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization) also declined by 11.5 percent to ₹394 crore (approximately $3.94 billion) during the quarter, compared to ₹443 crore (approximately $4.43 billion) in the same quarter last year. The company's EBITDA margin improved marginally to 8.7 percent, compared to 8.5 percent last year.
Share performance: The company's stock saw a significant decline following the results. The stock was trading at ₹194.40 (approximately $1.5 billion), down 5.64 percent. Over the past year, the company's stock has declined 36.92 percent.
