News Topical, Digital Desk : In view of the heat, the zoo has made elaborate arrangements for the wildlife's living and food. The pythons have been housed in a specially air-conditioned kraal.

This is the same python that previously went hungry for months at Vinod Van, where it was fed only chickpeas. After coming to the zoo, it has a different "appearance." And its health has improved.

The python enclosure is equipped with air conditioning to maintain a constant temperature throughout the year. Coolers have been installed in the enclosures of other wildlife, including lions, to protect them from the heat. A total of 45 coolers have been installed throughout the zoo.

Two coolers have been installed in the kraals of animals such as lions, tigers, leopards, rhinos, and bears. However, deer are kept in natural air because they feel extremely cold. Furthermore, khas mats have been placed around the bird enclosures to provide relief from the heat.

Zoo workers are dousing them with water during the afternoon to keep them cool in the hot air. Zoo Deputy Director Dr. Yogesh Pratap Singh said that changes have already been made to the animals' diet due to the heat.

The python is being fed one to two chickens every week, while the diets of other wildlife have also been altered. The Deputy Director explained that the python is a highly sensitive animal, so special air conditioning has been installed in its kraal to ensure its comfort. Additionally, coolers have been installed in other enclosures to provide relief from the heat.
