According to the Vedic calendar,  Sawan Shivratri  will be celebrated on 23 July. This festival is celebrated every year on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of Sawan month. Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati are worshiped on this day. Also, Lord Shiva is offered water on Sawan Shivratri. Apart from this, a fast is also observed on Sawan Shivratri to get the desired wish.

When is Hariyali Amavasya (When is Hariyali Amavasya)

Hariyali Amavasya will be celebrated on 24th July. On this day, there is a combination of Ravi Pushya and Sarvarth Siddhi and Shivavas Yoga. In these yogas, Lord Shiva will be worshipped with devotion. Along with this, Tarpan and Pinddaan of ancestors will be done. By worshipping Lord Shiva, the blessings of ancestors are also received.

When is Putrada Ekadashi (When is Putrada Ekadashi)

Every year Putrada Ekadashi is celebrated on the next day of Dashami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month. On this auspicious occasion, Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi, the savior of the world, are worshiped. Also, a fast is observed for them. By observing this fast, every wish of the devotee is fulfilled. This year Putrada Ekadashi is celebrated on 05 August.

When is Raksha Bandhan (Raksha Bandhan Kab Hai)

Every year the festival of Rakhi is celebrated on the full moon day of the month of Savan. This year Savan Purnima is on 09 July. Therefore, Rakhi, a festival symbolizing the love between brother and sister, will be celebrated on 09 July. On this auspicious occasion, sisters tie Rakhi on the wrists of their brothers.
