Mohali: Last week, some locals of village Mudhon Sangatian had talked about banning the entry of people from other states into the village. Now the locals of village Jandpur in Kharar have issued an order. People associated with the village youth council have put up boards at many places here, on which it is written that people from other states will have to follow 11 rules to live in the village.

These 11 rules are also displayed on the board. Despite such cases involving people from other states, the police-administration has not taken any action till now. Councillor of Ward No. 4 of Municipal Council Kharar and member of Youth Council of Jandpur village, Govinder Singh Cheema said that he has taken this decision along with other people of the village. This decision has been taken regarding security arrangements.

These rules were decided

Police verification is necessary to live in the village, no one can go out of the village after 9 pm, consumption of paan, gutkha, bidi is prohibited in the village, more than two people cannot live in one room, roaming around in the village in less clothes is prohibited, only one drinking water connection will be available per house, 2100 rupees will have to be given to eunuchs as congratulations, vehicles have to be parked in the parking lot only. Parking should not be done on the road or street.
