News Topical, Digital Desk : In Churu, Rajasthan, MP Rahul Kaswan's farmers' tractor march was stopped by police on Monday (November 17). Meanwhile, the police have sealed the Churu district border. Police have been deployed at various locations along NH 52. Kotwali police and senior officers are also present on the highway. 

Police have seized more than four dozen tractors. They have detained nearly 100 people in connection with the incident. Given the seriousness of the situation, District Collector Abhishek Surana and Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav are closely monitoring the situation.

Talks continue between farmers and officials

Considering the seriousness of the matter, both officials are attempting to negotiate with farmer leaders and Congress leaders. Furthermore, farmers arrived with their tractors on NH 52 near Hotel Sunway on Monday morning, where a large police presence had already been deployed. The police have seized the farmers' tractors. 

On the other hand, farmers also reached Hotel Jhankar. Kotwali police arrived there and confiscated the farmers' tractors. District Collector Abhishek Surana stated that police force had been deployed due to the large number of farmers. Meanwhile, efforts are being made to negotiate with Congress leaders and farmers. 

State Congress Vice President gave this information

State Congress Vice President Rafiq Mandelia said that the government has attacked the interests of farmers. Farmers were conducting a peaceful tractor march on Monday, but the police administration seized their tractors beforehand. 

MP Rahul Kaswan was scheduled to lead a tractor march from Rajgarh. However, the police and administration deployed large numbers of police forces in Ratanpura and Dudhwakhara, preventing farmers from proceeding further. It is noteworthy that MP Kaswan was leading the tractor march to raise the issue of farmers' ₹500 crore insurance claims for 2021 and other issues facing them.
