News Topical, Digital Desk : Pakistan has launched an anti-ship ballistic missile, which it claims is a domestically developed ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile. According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the test was conducted on Tuesday from a locally built naval platform, enhancing Pakistan's defence capabilities.

What did ISPR say about the missile?

The missile is capable of striking both sea and land targets with high precision, the ISPR said, adding that it is equipped with advanced guidance technology and superior maneuverability features.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and service chiefs congratulated all the units, scientists and engineers involved in the success.

Pakistan is strengthening its defense after facing defeat from India.

Pakistan is focusing on enhancing its defence capabilities after suffering a setback from India during Operation Sindoor and in September the Pakistan Army launched the newly developed Fatah-4, a ground-launched cruise missile with a range of 750 kilometres.
