News Topical, Digital Desk : UP News: After the issue of traders not getting compensation in the Heritage Corridor gained momentum, the SP delegation came to meet the traders under the leadership of Mata Prasad Pandey and Lal Bihari Yadav, Leader of Opposition. As soon as the SP delegation reached Pandeyhata in Gorakhpur to meet the traders, BJP officials and workers associated with the Vyapar Mandal opposed them there.

During this, there was a clash and sloganeering between SP and BJP. Police tried to mediate between the two sides. After the protest in Pandeyhata, the glass of a car of the SP delegation broke and eggs were also thrown at the car. Workers associated with the BJP's Vyapar Mandal also blocked their way with a JCB. SP and BJP leaders are also blaming each other on this matter.

Seeing the anger among the traders regarding the compensation for the heritage corridor at Pandeyhata-Ghantaghar in Gorakhpur, the SP delegation led by Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey and Lal Bahadur Yadav reached Gorakhpur. The dispute that started between 2:30 and 3:00 pm on Wednesday became so heated that at 3:30 pm the SP delegation sat on a dharna to register their protest.

The police persuaded both the parties and ended the SP's dharna. There is a lot of anger among the traders and local people against the BJP government due to not getting the desired compensation for road widening in the heritage corridor. The traders are so angry at not getting compensation as per the circle rate and land that they have approached the High Court.

However, now the Samajwadi Party and the opposition have got a chance to do politics on this issue. This is the reason why the SP delegation came to meet the traders today under the leadership of Mata Prasad Pandey and Lal Bihari Yadav. Meanwhile, the officials and workers associated with the BJP Vyapar Mandal got wind of this and they reached to oppose the SP delegation.

On this issue, Leader of Opposition Lal Bihari Yadav said that this murder of democracy is happening at the doorstep of the Chief Minister. The people who are working on the road widening at Pandeyhata, Reti Chowk, Ghantaghar, Nakhas Chowk, Bakshipur, Alinagar, Hazaripur, Jatashankar, Dharamshala have come here only to eat this. The shops of Gorakhnath Math have been demolished, so the compensation should be given to the traders at the same rate at which the Chief Minister himself has taken compensation from the government. They want to demolish them by giving compensation of 10 thousand and 20 thousand.
