News Topical, Digital Desk : A 20-year-old man died after a chemical leak in an industrial area in Andheri, Mumbai on Saturday. Two others, including a teenager, were hospitalised.

The incident occurred at 4:55 p.m. inside a two-story building in Bhangarwadi, in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area, officials said. The chemical that leaked has not yet been identified.

The fire department was initially informed of the incident, and its team immediately arrived at the scene. According to officials, the condition of three people who were affected by the chemical leak is critical.

All three were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, an official said. Ahmed Hussain was declared dead on arrival, while Naushad Ansari and Saba Sheikh were admitted to the hospital's ICU. Their condition is critical, he said.
