New Delhi: The country is celebrating its 78th Independence Day today. PM Modi hoisted the tricolor at the Red Fort. The Prime Minister addressed the countrymen from the ramparts of the Red Fort.

In his address, Modi said that Developed India 2047 is not just a word, it reflects the resolve and dreams of 140 crore people. We are capable of making India a developed nation by 2047 with our resolve.

PM Modi also expressed concern over natural disasters in the country. The Prime Minister expressed concern over the loss of life and property in the recent natural disasters and expressed condolences to the affected people and said that the whole country stands with them in this hour of crisis.

He said that this year and for the past few years, the concern due to natural disasters is increasing. People have lost their family members and property in natural disasters. Today I express my condolences to all of them.
