New Delhi: The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is constantly strengthening the hands of the Indian Army. With its new research, DRDO is creating fear in the enemy camp. The organization has created one such anti-tank guided missile, whose roar will make the enemies sweat.

DRDO has recently successfully test fired indigenously developed Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MP-ATGM) at the Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

The missile is for infantry and special forces

This missile is for the Indian Army's infantry and paratroopers (special forces). It is launched from a canister using an ejection motor. It uses a state-of-the-art IIR seeker to hit the target.

The maximum range is 2.5 km

The man-portable missile was launched using a tripod at the Jaisalmer Field Firing Range. It is designed to strike at a maximum range of 2.5 km with a launch weight of less than 15 kg.
