Jaipur: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that today many countries are fighting wars in the race to get ahead, but India's goal is to move forward unitedly. Our goal is to walk together holding each other's hands. Our army is number one in the world.
The Defense Minister arrived in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on Thursday to inspect the Indian Air Force's biggest war exercise 'Tarang Shakti 2024' (Phase Two). During this, he also saw the amazing feats of fighter jets and helicopters of the Indian Air Force like Prachand, Surya Kiran, Sarang.

On this occasion, Air Force Chiefs of America, Sri Lanka, Australia, Japan, Singapore and UAE also joined India. Rajnath Singh said that with the resolve of self-reliant India, the Indian Air Force and the defense sector are moving forward rapidly. India has taken strong steps towards indigenization in the manufacture of weapons and aircraft.
Today we export arms and equipment to about 90 countries. In view of global challenges, he called upon friendly nations to take partnership and cooperation to new heights. The Defence Minister also inaugurated the Defence Aviation Expo.

Defence equipment made with new technology including indigenous weapons have been showcased in the expo which will run till September 14. Participation of friendly countries in this will help India's aerospace industry to explore export opportunities.
