New Delhi: Even though a new government has been formed in Bangladesh, violence is still continuing there. Protesters are targeting the minority community. Many Hindu families from Bangladesh (Bangladeshis on Indian Border) want to leave their homes and come to India.

Thousands of people from the Hindu community are present on the India-Bangladesh border. In Sitalkuchi of Cooch Behar in Bengal, about 1000 Bangladeshis are standing in the reservoir and requesting the BSF to allow them to enter India.

People shouting slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram' 

However, the BSF is also alert regarding border security. BSF officials said that this is the largest group of people trying to enter India so far.  

People trying to cross the border at Pathantuli village in Kashiyar Baruni area of ​​Cooch Behar were so desperate that they waited for hours in a reservoir across the fence. Some people were shouting slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'.

BSF on alert

BSF personnel stopped these people from crossing the fence at a distance of 150 yards from the zero point (no man's land) of the border. Despite repeated appeals by BSF jawans, these people were not ready to return to their homes in Doi Khawa and Genduguri villages of Rangpur district of Bangladesh.

A BSF release said, “This emerging challenge is new for the BSF. People from Bangladesh have been coming to Petrapole in North 24 Parganas, Bengal for the last few days.

Formation of a committee to protect the border

Let us tell you that the government has formed a committee to keep an eye on the border. The ADG of the Eastern Command of the Border Security Force has been made the chairman of the committee. Before this, the Border Security Force has increased vigilance on the Bangladesh border. Let us tell you that the incidents of violence in Bangladesh have increased the concern of the Indian government.
