New Delhi: Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the National Security Strategies Conference to prepare a roadmap to deal with the emerging challenges of national security. Senior officials from security agencies as well as young police officers working on cutting edge technology related to security and experts from various fields are participating in the conference.

750 officers are participating in the two-day conference being held in both physical and virtual mode. According to a senior Home Ministry official, along with the rapidly changing technology, the challenges of national security are also changing and it is important to prepare the security agencies accordingly.

PM Modi gave the suggestion

In view of this, during the annual conference of Directors General of Police, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had suggested a National Security Strategies Conference in hybrid mode to identify future challenges related to national security and prepare a roadmap to deal with them, in which apart from police officers, experts from specific fields should also be included.

The Home Minister also inaugurated the dashboard

On the occasion of the inauguration of the conference, Amit Shah launched the dashboard prepared by the National Crime Records Bureau. This dashboard has been created to provide real-time information on the decisions taken in the annual conference of Directors General of Police. Complete information on how much of these decisions related to national security have been implemented will be available on this dashboard. It will also contain information on decisions that have not been implemented for years.
