News Topical, Digital Desk : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has targeted Samajwadi Party leader and Jaswant Nagar MLA Shivpal Singh Yadav. CM Yogi made the comment while referring to Mata Prasad Pandey, the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly.

He said that Mata Prasad Pandey's simplicity, ease, and humility attract everyone. May he remain healthy and live long. May Shivpal ji's curse not fall upon him. I certainly wish this. As soon as CM Yogi said this, Mata Prasad Pandey folded his hands.

CM Yogi also called Shivpal Yadav a thug. He told Mata Prasad that he was the backbone of the Samajwadi Party. He said that he was a follower of Lohia and had closely observed that he had done a lot to build the Samajwadi Party. It's a different matter that he had thugs like Shivpal standing behind him.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister stated that the Leader of the Opposition will not manipulate age-related statistics. Sometimes company has an impact. It seems Chachu (Shivpal Singh Yadav) has had an impact.

The CM said, "What you said here (in the Assembly) and I was under the impression that the Leader of the Opposition wouldn't manipulate the figures based on age. He did try that once. I realized then that company has an impact. I thought it was Uncle's influence. You said the fiscal deficit and debt were high."

On the last day of the budget session, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh stated that the state government is working to reduce the debt ratio from 27 percent to 23 percent. He explained that government revenue, which was approximately ₹43,000 crore in 2017, has now surpassed ₹1 lakh crore. The Chief Minister stated that India will develop only when the states develop, and that Uttar Pradesh, once considered one of the most backward states in the country, is now moving toward becoming one of the top three. He set a goal of increasing the state's economy to over ₹40 lakh crore by the 2026-27 fiscal year.

The Chief Minister alleged that during the previous Samajwadi Party government, Uttar Pradesh's image had deteriorated so much that people couldn't even find rooms in hotels, whereas today, the respect for the state's people has increased. He pointed out that the current budget is ₹912,000 crore. At the time of the farmer loan waiver in 2017, the state's financial situation was extremely weak, and due to a negative perception, support was not forthcoming. However, the current government has curbed corruption and prevented leakage of government funds. According to the Chief Minister, capital expenditure in Uttar Pradesh has increased to ₹177,000 crore by 2026.
