News Topical, Digital Desk : Info Edge (India) Limited has announced a major management change at its flagship platform, Naukri.com. Pawan Goyal, the company's Whole-Time Director and Chief Business Officer (Naukri), has resigned from his position.
According to a company release, Pawan Goyal's resignation was received on March 31, 2026, and he will step down from his position at the close of business on May 31, 2026. He will also relinquish his membership on various board committees of the company.
The Board of Directors and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee acknowledged his resignation and expressed their appreciation for his contributions. The company stated that Pawan Goyal played a key role in strengthening the organization during his tenure. He delivered strong growth over seven years. In the letter attached to his resignation (Annexure II, page 3), Pawan Goyal stated that he had worked at Info Edge for over seven years, during which time the company's business experienced a CAGR of 16.8%. Additionally, the operating PBT margin increased from 53% to approximately 57%. He stated that he now wishes to pursue other interests and opportunities in his life. In his resignation letter, Pawan Goyal wished the company and team the best for the future. The company also clarified that this information was submitted to the stock exchanges in accordance with regulatory requirements. Overall, this is considered a significant management change at Info Edge, especially at a time when the company's job portal business is rapidly growing.
