This accident happened in Pakistan's Punjab province. A passenger train full of passengers suddenly derailed near Lodhran railway station. This train was going from Peshawar to Karachi when this accident happened.
19 people rescued
According to Geo News, in this accident, 4 coaches of the train got derailed and were badly damaged. The people trapped in the train were somehow taken out. At least 19 people have been rescued. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
Condition of 2 is serious
According to Lodhran Deputy Commissioner Dr. Lubna Nazir, the condition of 2 other people is critical. They are being treated in the hospital. The cause of the accident is not yet known. After the accident, this route was closed for a few hours. However, now the movement of trains has started again.
Trains that have derailed before
Let us tell you that last Monday Musa Pak Express also got derailed in which 5 passengers were injured. Earlier, 10 coaches of Islamabad Express going from Lahore to Islamabad had derailed in which 30 passengers were injured.
