News Topical, Digital Desk : A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Mahoba district, Uttar Pradesh. Police have revealed a shocking account of a murder in Panwadi. A man was murdered not by an enemy, but by his own wife, three daughters, and minor son. The family, along with the daughter's lover, committed the crime due to the husband's alcohol addiction and a financial dispute. Police have arrested all five accused and sent them to jail.
This case is from Haibatpura village, under the Panwadi police station area of Mahoba district, where a wicked wife and children committed a horrific crime, killing their kin. When police uncovered the truth about the body of 36-year-old Harnarayan Prajapati, found in a drain on April 14th, even officials were stunned. Superintendent of Police Shashank Singh stated that the deceased Harnarayan was addicted to alcohol and gambling.
How did he kill?
The main bone of contention in this case was the ₹82,500 Harnarayan had recently raised for his daughter's wedding by selling his cattle. The family wanted this money to be safe, but Harnarayan was determined to squander it on alcohol and gambling. Enraged by this, his wife, Rampyari, along with their three daughters, Jyoti, Sonali, and Pooja, their minor son, and their daughter's boyfriend, Jaiveer, hatched a horrific murder plot. As part of the plot, the family members strangled Harnarayan to death with a rope. To destroy evidence, the body was thrown into a nearby drain, and the deceased's mobile phone was broken and thrown into the bushes.
How was the conspiracy exposed?
Mahoba Superintendent of Police Shashank Singh stated that the family initially misled the police by not cooperating with the investigation, deepening their suspicions. When the SOG, Surveillance, and Panwadi police conducted rigorous interrogations, the truth gradually emerged. Police recovered the murder weapon, the stolen cash of ₹82,500, and a broken mobile phone from the accused. This heinous murder has sent shockwaves throughout the area. Currently, all the accused, who attempted to evade the law, have been sent to jail under judicial custody. However, this incident, which shattered the dignity of relationships, has forced society to reflect.
