
News Topical, Digital Desk : Delhi Crime News: Delhi Police busted an inter-state car theft gang in Delhi NCR and arrested the mastermind Gulzar Khan. Delhi Police has recovered luxury vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Wagon R and many others from the possession of the accused. Which are related to theft cases registered in various places of Delhi.
Delhi Police formed a team to catch this gang active in Delhi NCR. Delhi Police received intelligence that a clever thief named Gulzar Khan is going to Ghaziabad via Vivek Vihar in a stolen car Hyundai Creta. Delhi Police laid a trap on Chaudhary Charan Singh Marg in Vivek Vihar on June 11 and caught Gulzar Khan. The white car recovered from him was found to be related to the theft in an FIR lodged at Police Station Maurya Enclave.
Accused revealed that
during the interrogation by Delhi Police, accused Gulzar Khan revealed that he used to take stolen vehicles from Faizan who is a resident of Moradabad in UP and used to dismantle them in his workshop in Rampur village of UP and sell their parts. He used to sell these parts in the auto market of Bareilly.
Delhi Police gave important information
Gulzar Khan is originally a resident of Shiv Nagar in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand and runs a spare parts shop in Milknaukhari village of Rampur in UP. To meet his financial needs, he used to deal in stolen vehicles and after dismantling them, sold them as spare parts in different cities. Police say that more arrests and recoveries can be made in the case in the coming days. Police investigation is going on in this case.
