The film was confirmed after months of speculation

There was a buzz about the film 'Dayara' for the last several months. Its name came out in early 2024, but the official confirmation has come only now. Earlier this month, on April 7, Prithviraj and Kareena were seen together in Mumbai, which further fueled the speculation. Earlier, Siddharth Malhotra and Ayushmann Khurrana's names were associated with this film, but due to date clash, they could not be a part of the project.
