News Topical, Digital Desk : On Friday (December 19), in Jalandhar , Punjab, a dispute broke out between two student groups over the college presidency . The violent clash resulted in gunfire . According to reports, students from one group were standing outside a petrol pump when students from the other group arrived . A fight quickly ensued between the two groups, with one group opening fire .

Two people were seriously injured in the firing incident. One person was shot in the chest , while the other was shot in the shoulder. Both injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Jalandhar for treatment. The incident caused panic among pump workers. According to reports, approximately 10 to 15 rounds were fired in the pump premises.
