The US news outlet CBS, citing two US officials, reported that most of those injured have returned to duty. This information came after US Central Command reported that 373 American troops have been injured in the ongoing operation in Iran.
Iran responds to Trump
The Iranian military says Trump's delusional threats will not compensate for the humiliation and insult inflicted on the US. A spokesman for Iran's top joint military command called Trump's threats delusional.
In a statement carried by state media, a spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters said these threats would not compensate for the humiliation and insult the US had suffered in the region.
America warned of intensifying attacks on Iran
The White House warned on Monday that Iran faces devastating military action if it doesn't seriously engage in talks before President Donald Trump's Tuesday deadline. "Iran will be sent back to the Stone Age tomorrow night if it doesn't seriously engage in talks," the White House said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Trump threatened on Tuesday night to bomb Iran's energy infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, if there is no agreement on reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
