News Topical, Digital Desk : A 25-year-old Indian-origin man has been arrested in Mississauga, Canada. He is accused of faking a medical condition and exposing himself indecently to female doctors.

According to Peel Regional Police (PRP), the accused man has been identified as Vaibhav. It is alleged that Vaibhav had been visiting various medical centres and clinics in Mississauga for the past several months. During this time, he would fake medical problems and attempt to induce inappropriate physical contact.

He repeatedly made excuses for illness.

Following the arrest, Peel Regional Police said the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) has arrested a Brampton man in connection with an indecent assault investigation. Investigators allege the suspect, identified as Vaibhav, repeatedly feigned illness and attempted inappropriate physical contact with female doctors at clinics.

Use of fake identity

Investigating officers also allege that the accused exposed his genitals to female clinic staff and sometimes used fake identities when interacting with doctors. He allegedly falsely claimed medical conditions in an attempt to obtain inappropriate touch from female doctors.

Vaibhav was arrested on December 4 and is in custody awaiting a bail hearing. The Indian-born Vaibhav faces several charges, including indecent exposure, identity fraud with intent to obtain a benefit, possession of an identity card, and identity theft.

However, investigators also suspect that the accused may be a victim, who has not yet come forward.
