News Topical, Digital Desk : On Friday, a team of the administration arrived in Mubarakpur Band village of Asmoli to demolish the mosque, madrasa and shops that had been illegally built on government land for a decade.
On the complaint of illegal occupation of the compost pit and playground land for 30 years, the Revenue Department had issued a notice to remove the illegal construction on March 28 after measurement.
After this, people began removing the illegal construction themselves. Workers removed five illegally constructed shops, but refused to demolish the 35-meter-high tower for safety reasons.
Following this, a team from the Revenue Department arrived on Friday with police force and a bulldozer. However, the driver also warned of the dangers of demolishing the tower with a bulldozer. A hydra crane has now been called in to demolish the tower.
